Peekskill 'Touch-A-Truck' Event Could Use A Helping Hand
The organizers are seeking a few key donations of items to help Cub Scouts earn their merit badges in the great outdoors.
PEEKSKILL, NY — Life is full of signs that say "Don't Touch," but, for one day only, those rules won't be anywhere to be found on Saturday at a popular free community event in Peekskill.
The City of Peekskill Police Department, in partnership with local business K&D Industries and Peekskill Professional Firefighters Local 2343, will be holding a Touch-A-Truck free community event on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Riverfront Green Park.
There will be food, fun, and, of course, big trucks.

They still need some donations to benefit the Cub Scouts.
Below is a list of items they are collecting to support these youths. If you can assist in any way, just stop by the police department or write to this email address. You can also reach out to Vanessa Bjorkland, K&D Industries, at 914-382-1314.
