Peekskill Woman Charged with DWAI Drugs in Cortlandt
State police said they were initially called to a trespassing incident.

New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested 29-year-old Diana L. Espinoza Sept. 18 for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Troopers were dispatched to a trespass complaint in Cortlandt. Following an investigation conducted by the responding officer, the Peekskill resident was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs in addition to marihuana and cocaine possession.
A Drug Recognition Expert was utilized to confirm that Espinoza was impaired.
Espinoza was issued traffic tickets and appearance tickets directing her to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Court on Sept. 28.
