Police Allege Man Was Behind the Wheel, Unresponsive
The Cortlandt Manor 24-year-old is due in town court Sept. 11.
New York State Police arrested George Maggiore, 24, of Cortlandt Manor for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, both Misdemeanors.
Troopers were dispatched Aug. 31 to conduct a welfare check on an unresponsive driver behind the wheel of a vehicle. Police concluded Maggiore was impaired by drugs. He was also charged with possessing Clonazepam, a controlled substance.
Maggiore was issued appearance tickets directing him to appear before Cortlandt town court on Sept. 11.
