Police Continue Search for Cortlandt Man
They first asked for help from the public Feb. 7.
CORTLANDT, NY — The New York State Police continue to search for 59-year-old Joseph Sharpe.
Sharpe is reported to have left Mohegan Park in Cortlandt on Jan. 26, 2017. He is described as being 5’8” tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing grey sweat pants, a white t-shirt, a black nylon jacket and a black baseball cap with “New York City” written on the front.
Sharpe has previous connections to the Yonkers area and police believe he may be staying in a homeless shelter. Sharpe suffers from mental illness and may be in need of medication. Anyone with information regarding Sharpe’s whereabouts is asked to contact the New York State Police by calling (914) 769-2600. All calls can be kept confidential.
