Police Release Suspect Description in Route 202 Robbery
State police ask the public's help in identifying this man.

On Dec. 29 at about 11:30 p.m., the New York State Police were dispatched to a reported robbery that occurred on Route 202 in front of the Peekskill Animal Hospital.

The victim told police that she was walking home from the Beech Shopping Center when she was approached by a black male who forcibly took her belongings and then fled toward Peekskill.
The assailant is described as a dark-skinned black male, approximately 6’00” tall, with a medium build, and a gold tooth. He was reportedly wearing a dark colored (possibly dark orange) sweatshirt and a black nylon windbreaker type jacket, with black sweatpants or dark colored jeans. It is also believed that the suspect may have been wearing a black knit cap.
