Police Seek Unfriendly Dog That Escaped from the SPCA
People are warned to avoid the dog, a brown pitbull mix weighing 50 to 60 pounds.
Several Westchester police departments are searching for an unfriendly dog that escaped from the SPCA on North State Road in Ossining.
The facility is near the borders of New Castle and Briarcliff Manor.
If you see it, call the police.

Here’s the NIXLE alert sent by the Westchester County Police:
A brown colored 50-60 pound dog, possibly a pitbull mix, escaped from the ASPCA on North State Road approximately 3 hours ago. This dog is not friendly and will bite if approached. Do not attempt to catch or handle this animal! Please call 911 immediately if you observe this animal.
