Police Seek Vehicle in Feb. 10 Hit-and-Run

The car in question has a broken windshield, the man it hit on Lexington Avenue told police.

New York State Police were called to Lexington Avenue near State Route 6 at 10:35 p.m. Feb. 10 for a hit-and-run auto accident involving a pedestrian.

Police interviewed the victim, 26-year-old Alex R. Hoy of Yorktown, who was receiving medical attention from the Mohegan Lake Rescue Squad.

Hoy said he was walking northbound on Lexington Avenue when a vehicle traveling southbound struck him and fled the scene. Hoy was unable to obtain a vehicle description, but did say the vehicle sustained a broken windshield and continued south on Lexington.

Hoy was taken to Westchester Medical Center where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
