Registration Opens for Peekskill's Polar Plunge
Local residents to plunge into Hudson River on New Year's Day for local non-profit.

From This is Me Foundation: Local residents will be plunging into the cold waters of the Hudson River on New Year's Day to raise money for a great cause. The 6th Annual Polar Plunge benefits the This is Me Foundation and is sponsored by The Quiet Man Public House. All proceeds from the plunge will go towards college scholarships for local students who have faced an adversity, or helped a friend through adversity, as well as national scholarships to students who have alopecia.

The event will be held at the Peekskill Riverfront Green at 12:00 p.m. sharp on January 1, 2018 and is open to the public to watch and cheer on the brave plungers. If interested in plunging, participants are required to register in advance at www.thisismefoundation.com. Registration is open until December 30th.
