Registration's Open for Peekskill's 7th Annual Polar Plunge
Proceeds fund scholarships for local students who have faced or helped a friend through adversity, and grants to students who have alopecia.

From This is Me Foundation:Local residents will be plunging into the cold waters of the Hudson River on New Year's Day to raise money for a great cause. The 7th Annual Polar Plunge benefits the This is Me Foundation and is sponsored by Peekskill restaurant The Quiet Man Public House. All proceeds from the plunge will go towards college scholarships for local students who have faced an adversity, or helped a friend through adversity, as well as national scholarships to students who have alopecia.
The event will be held at the Peekskill Riverfront Green at 12:00 p.m. sharp on January 1, 2019 and is open to the public to watch and cheer on the brave plungers. If interested in plunging, participants are required to register in advance at http://www.thisismefoundation.com. Registration is open until December 30th.
