Cortlandt Manor Motorcyclist Killed in Yorktown Accident
Police said the man collided with an SUV.
YORKTOWN, NY — A motor vehicle accident in Yorktown claimed the life of a Cortlandt Manor resident.
Around 11:12 a.m. Thursday, police were summoned to Route 202 at the intersection of Garden Lane to investigation an accident involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
Police determined that the motorcycle, which was driven by Jack R. Bakmezian, 24, struck the other vehicle, causing him to be thrown from the motorcycle.

He was taken to Hudson Valley Hospital Center by Lake Mohegan Fire Department ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
The Yorktown Police are investigating the accident.
