Teacher Charged with Having Child Porn Arrested for Illegal Weapons
Three unlicensed handguns were found, police said.

SOMERS, NY — The Rye Neck High School teacher arrested in November on federal child porn charges was arrested Monday on a weapons charge.
Nicholas Pagliuca, 65, was arrested for having three handguns that weren’t on his pistol license, according to the Journal News.
The Somers resident was arrested by the New York State Police and charged with misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Pagliuca was charged Nov. 23 with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of receipt of child pornography. Both charges can carry maximum sentences of 20 years in prison.
Authorities said Pagliuca registered for a subscription to a website that allows individuals to trade child pornography images and videos.

He is alleged to have downloaded hundreds of files containing images and videos of child porn, many of which showed prepubescent children engaged in sexual activity with adults or other children.
