Louisiana Murder Suspect Captured In Hudson Valley

New York state police said the possibly armed and dangerous man was traveling with a woman who has a distinctive tattoo.

UPDATE — New York State Police announced the capture of Louisiana fugutive Kristan R. Broussard. Police will hold a press conference at 3:30 p.m. in Middletown.

MIDDLETOWN, NY — The New York State Police along with the United States Marshals and the City of Middletown Police Department are searching for a fugitive from New Iberia, Louisiana. He is considered possibly armed and dangerous.

Kristan R. Broussard, 33, is wanted for Murder in the Second Degree. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches and 150 pounds.

He is believed to be in the company of Ursula Bourque, 30. Bourque has a distinct tattoo around her neck.

They were confirmed to be in the Middletown, NY area Tuesday.

State police are asking the public to contact law enforcement with any information or possible sightings in the area. Broussard police are asking the public not to approach the individuals if they are observed and contact State Police Middletown at 845-344-5300.
