On March 6, Trainello approached a 14-year-old girl on her way to school in the area of James Street and Brown Street and asked if she was interested in work, stating he would pay her for a massage, according to police.

The girl declined and continued to school, where she reported the incident to the School Resource Officer at Peekskill High School, which started the initial investigation.

The victim reportedly told police that after a brief discussion with Trainello, she exited his vehicle onto Main Street, and he drove away.

On Tuesday, Trainello was arrested on child endangerment charges.

Peekskill police say that the investigation is ongoing, and provided photos of Trainello and his vehicle.
