Hen Hud

Hunter Glashoff drove in a run with teammate Kyle Altman doubling for No. 22 Hendrick Hudson in its 3-2 loss to No. 11 Tappan Zee in a Section 1 Class A outbracket game on May 23 according to Vincent Mercogliano's post on the LoHud Baseball Blog.

The contest was Hen Hud coach Paul Natale's last game of his 42-year coaching career. The game was played at Hendrick Hudson due to the fact that Tappan Zee's field, where it was originally scheduled, was unplayable.

Panas

Mercogliano also reported that in another Class A out-bracket contest on the same day No. 19 Walter Panas' Zach Preuss had a two-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to give the No. 19 Panthers a 2-1 lead in their 4-3 loss to host No. 14 Rye, coached by Peekskill graduate Mike Bruno.
