Sign up, Support, Sponsor, Spectate: Sunday's Polar Plunge in Peekskill

PEEKSKILL, NY — Sign up to support the This is Me Foundation and all those local residents who will be plunging into the cold waters of the Hudson River on New Year's Day to raise money for a great cause!

The 5th Annual Polar Plunge is planned by the This is Me Foundation, and sponsored by The Quiet Man Public House. All proceeds will go towards college scholarships for local students who have faced adversity, or helped a friend through adversity, as well as national scholarships to students who have alopecia.

The event will be held at the Peekskill Riverfront Green at 12 p.m. sharp on Sunday.

About This Is Me Foundation:

The This Is Me Foundation, founded by Peekskill residents Caitlin & Lauren Brady, was created to raise awareness about alopecia, an auto-immune disease that causes hair loss, while giving hope to any individual who faces adversity. All proceeds go directly to the This Is Me Scholarship Fund, Inspired by Ryan Risco & Cait Chivonne Polhill. The fund has provided 27 scholarships locally and nationally since 2012, and will present eight scholarships in 2017.
