Spikes, Kills, Digs, and a Food Drive Too!
Blue Mountain Middle School's Annual Food Drive Kicks off Monday

The Blue Mountain Middle School community will host a two-week food drive beginning on Monday March 16th. The Physical Education Dept., with the help of the Student Organization, plans to collect more than 1,000 food items for the local food bank. This is the 28th year of running a food drive at BMMS.
The Student Organization will also host a Spirit Week prior to the competition, concluding with our traditional blue and white day on March 27th. The culminating activity that day congratulates everyone for their support while sharing memorable school spirit. From 1:15 to 2:30 p.m. the Physical Education Dept. hosts a student vs. faculty volleyball match. Games begin with sixth graders and end with the school’s modified team, all playing against their respective teachers. The exciting competition wraps up with a 4-Way Tug-of-War, which the teachers have never won. As always, Mrs. Richter’s Pep Band will rock the house throughout the games.
Please donate to our worthy cause by having your Middle School child bring in items of non-perishable food and drop it off at the entrance to the school. If you have any questions please call Mrs. Swertfager at 257-5780 Thank you for your support.
