Taste of Haverstraw Food Crawl
A Taste of Haverstraw–a small plates or tapas-focused "food crawl" or food sampling walking tour. Eat, meet, walk.

Haverstraw RiverArts and the Village of Haverstraw are celebrating the end of summer and the diverse culinary options Downtown with “A Taste of Haverstraw” – a small plates or tapas-focused “food crawl” or food sampling walking tour. This is one of the best ways to meet neighbors, mingle, walk downtown and sample small plates from a wide range of cuisine. 10 restaurants are participating. $3-$10 per plate. CASH BAR.
The Village of Haverstraw is North Rockland’s only historic downtown and is best suited to host a food crawl. The downtown is a burgeoning scene of food-focused entrepreneurship, arts and historic buildings restoration and preservation.
The food crawl begins at 5 Senses Food Truck, a new and welcome addition to downtown capitalizing on “food truck craze.” The group will meet in the parking lot of the Knights of Columbus at 52 Broad Street at 2:00 pm. There is plenty of parking in the municipal lot at the food truck and across Broad Street. From there, the group will walk with official food crawl tour guides or venture on their own if they choose.
