Three Seats Available on Peekskill's Board of Education
Any residents interested in running for the Peekskill Board of Education must file a nomination petition by May 1, 2013.

There are three seats available for the Peekskill Board of Education, each one for a three-year term.
Nomination for the Board of Education is made by petition and must be signed by at least 100 qualified voters of the District.
Effective as of March 20, petition blanks may be secured at the Board of Education Office, 1031 Elm Street. Any Peekskill resident interested in running must file a nomination petition with the District Clerk. The last date for filing the petition is 5 p.m., May 1.

Editor's Note: Incumbent Michael Simpkins has said that he intends to run again for his, while Lisbeth Bock has said that she doesn't plan to run during this year's school board election. Trustee Tuesday McDonald has yet to make an officials statement regarding her intentions.
