Traffic Stop on East Main Street Results in DWI Charge

On August 23, 2014 at approximately 4:25 AM the State Police in Cortlandt arrested Edgar Bernal-Perez, age 28, of Cortlandt Manor, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Following a traffic stop conducted on East Main Street in the Town of Cortlandt for moving from his lane unsafely, Bernal-Perez was found to be intoxicated.

Bernal-Perez provided a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .18 percent.

He was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court on Sept. 5, at 9AM.
