Troopers Charge Six With DWI In Somers And Yorktown
State Police in Troop K said they removed 21 impaired drivers from the roadway during the weekend of Oct. 20

SOMERS, NY β New York state police reported arresting 21 people accused of impaired driving over the weekend of Oct. 20. Among them were two arrests in Yorktown and four in Somers.
On October 21, State Police from SP Somers arrested Paul Z. Plateroti, 30, of Yorktown, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 138 in the town of Somers, when he was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
On October 21, State Police from SP Somers arrested Kristin T. Regno, 35, of Carmel, NY, for Aggravated DWI. She was traveling on State Route 118 in the town of Somers, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, troopers alleged.

On October 21, State Police from SP Somers arrested Jason Cohen, 47, of Putnam Valley, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 6 in the town of Somers, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police said.
On October 21, State Police from SP Hawthorne arrested Vanessa Diaz, 22, of Poughkeepsie, NY, for DWI. She was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Yorktown, when she was involved in a one car motor vehicle collision. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police alleged.
