Two Peekskill High School Seniors Receive TSTT's Green Apple Award

Congratulations to Peekskill High School seniors and Today’s Students Tomorrow’s Teachers (TSTT) students Estevan Retamar and Vanessa Guaman, who were among those honored at the TSTT Annual Recognition Breakfast held on May 2, 2014.

Both Retamar and Guaman were given the organization’s Green Apple Award for completing the program, which aims to recruit, mentor, and train students from high school through college and place them as effective teachers and committed leaders who strengthen schools and communities. 

In addition to the Green Apple Award, both Retamar and Guaman are also eligible for a TSTT scholarship that can be used at colleges participating in the TSTT program.
