Valentine's Day Dining: Prix-Fixe Brunch at 12 Grapes in Peekskill

A $21 holiday meal including a complimentary mimosa, prosecco or Bloody Mary will be offered on Feb. 14.

A $21 brunch with a complimentary beverage on February 14 , 2016is one of several ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day at 12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar in downtown Peekskill.

The festivities begin on Saturday, February 13 with Pre-Valentine’s-Day date night, followed by Sunday prix-fixe brunch and Sunday night dinner.

Both the Saturday date night and the Sunday dinner include musical entertainment (Live Society plays on Saturday and the Natasha May Trio performs on Sunday).

The $21 Sunday brunch menu offers four appetizer choices and seven selections for the main course. Seating is between 11:30 a.m. or noon and again from 1 to 1:30 p.m. The menu follows:

Starter (chose one)

  1. Mini croissants with raspberry preserves
  2. Fresh fruit with Greek yogurt and granola
  3. Bourbon French onion soup
  4. Mixed field greens salad, honey-thyme vinaigrette

Entrée (chose one)

  1. Vegetable frittata. Mushrooms, leeks, spinach and Swiss cheese. Mixed field greens and honey-thyme vinaigrette
  2. Eggs Benedict. Canadian bacon and Hollandaise sauce, home-style potatoes and fresh fruit
  3. Bacon and cheddar quiche. Mixed field greens and honey-thyme vinaigrette
  4. French toast. Vermont maple syrup, fresh Fruit
  5. Chicken Caesar salad. Classic Caesar dressing with white anchovies, croutons, grilled chicken
  6. Mushroom ravioli. Braised romaine with shallots, light mushroom crème
  7. Bordeaux burger. Grilled Black Angus beef, red wine glaze, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, Garlic aioli on toasted brioche bun, hand-cut French fries

  • Entertainment: Live Society perform Soul-Pop and R&B
  • Dinner and show seating time: 7:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Showtime: 9:30 to12:30
  • Entertainment Fee: $10 or $5 with dinner

Information for dinner, Feb. 14:

  • Entertainment: The Natasha May Trio perform favorite love songs from the Great American Songbook
  • Performances. Two during each of the dinner seatings:
  • First seating time: 4:45 to 5:30 p.m. Music 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.
  • Second seating time: 7:30 to 8 p.m. Music 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
