Tony Jefferson, a New York native, is a versatile, accomplished drummer and has been a fixture on the New York jazz scene for many years. He has toured around the globe playing both festivals and clubs with world class musicians. Tony has performed and recorded with many jazz artists and groups including: Eddie Harris, Kenny Drew Jr., Lonnie Smith, Eddie Henderson, Lou Donaldson, Frank Wess, Don Byron, John Abercrombie, Joey Calderazzo and many others.

Groovocity’s eclectic mix of styles combines Funk, Jazz, Soul, Gospel, Calypso and Reggae. The funky, grooving mix of dance-able rhythms cook up an exciting gumbo of sound.
