Van Cort 4th Grader in NYS Elks Hoop Shoot

Congratulations and good luck to Ryan Scozzafava, a 4th-grade student at Van Cortlandtville. Ryan represented and competed in the Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot for Van Cort. at a competition in Yorktown in early January.

He won his age group there and then went on to compete, and win, at the next local area. He continued his sharp shooting in the regional competition, winning again and qualifying for the state competition. Ryan will be competing this weekend, March 4 and 5, at the New York State level in Glens Falls.
