At Woodside Elementary School, Mrs. Cronin and Mrs. Rosa-Gomez's Kindergarten Dual Language classes recently took a pond study trip to nearby Depew Park.
Led by outdoor educator Mr. Klotzle, students were able to use nets to explore what lives within the pond. The children were very excited to find crayfish, snails, dragonfly nymphs, frogs and fish.
"It was a wonderful educational hands-on experience for all of us," said Cronin.
