• Highbrook underpass at Metro North closed due to water main break (pelhamexaminer.com) — Drivers and train commuters in Pelham should avoid the Highbrook Avenue underpass by the Metro-North station, which is closed in both directions after a water main break near First Street. Veolia crews have been working since early morning to reach the ruptured pipe, and the Village of Pelham is urging residents to use alternate routes until further notice while updates are posted online.
   

• Picture House brings back free movies for seniors every Tuesday (pelhamexaminer.com) — Free Tuesday afternoon movies are returning for Pelham-area seniors at The Picture House Pelham, with complimentary admission for anyone 65 and older starting September 8. The weekly 2:30 p.m. screenings run through June 2027 and feature a mix of popular, independent, and international films. Seniors can just pick up a ticket at the box office and enjoy extra perks with an optional membership.
