• First day of school brings new AC window units to Colonial, Siwanoy and Prospect Hill after PTAs pledge to raise funds (pelhamexaminer.com) — Students at Pelham's Colonial, Siwanoy and Prospect Hill schools are starting the year with 16 new window AC units, aimed at ending disruptive heat-related closures. The Pelham school district bought and installed the units after parents pushed for relief, with PTAs now fundraising to reimburse costs and plans to repurpose the units once central air is added next year.
