On Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM, the actual 1767 King James Bible used by George Washington when he took the Oath of Office as the first President of the United States will be on public display at Philipstown Lodge, 18 Secor St, Cold Spring, NY 10516.
This is a rare chance to the whole community to see an important piece of American history up close - perfect for families, history enthusiasts, people of faith, and anyone who wants to experience a living connection to our nation's founding.
