1 Dead, 3 Hurt After Car Crashes Into Plainview Home

A 19-year-old woman was killed in the crash Sunday morning, police say.

One person was killed and three others were injured when a car crashed into a Plainview home Sunday morning, Nassau Police said.

According to police, a 2004 Acura with four people inside was heading east on Round Swamp Road when the driver lost control going around a curve, sending the car into a home located at 1529 Round Swamp Road at 4:15 a.m.

A 19-year-old female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The three other people in the car were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There were no injuries reported to the occupants of the home. There are no charges being filed at this time and the investigation is continuing, police said.
