2nd Victim Dies From Weekend Fire At Plainview Senior Living: Police

PLAINVIEW, NY — A second victim from a weekend fire at a senior living apartment complex in Plainview has died.

A 74-year-old woman who was in critical condition has died from her injuries, police said.

She has been identified as Lynne Citron of Plainview, police said.

The pre-dawn Sunday fire also killed an 84-year-old female resident, identified as Theresa Casale of Plainview, authorities said.

Residents were evacuated by police and firefighters from the Plainview and Bethpage fire departments.

An investigation is ongoing.
