ACLD Foundation’s Annual Golf Outing Raises Over $164,000 Benefiting ACLD Programs Supporting People With Disabilities
ACLD Foundation recognized West Islip's Michael Crisci of L&M Painting as 2017 Golf Outing Honoree for his support and contributions.
October 11, 2017; Bethpage, NY – More than 225 people recently gathered at Glen Head Country Club in Glen Head, NY for the Annual ACLD Foundation Golf Outing, raising more than $164,000 to benefit Adults and Children with Learning and Developmental Disabilities, Inc. (ACLD), headquartered in Bethpage, NY.
The Golf Outing honored Michael Crisci of West Islip, owner of L&M Painting in West Islip, for his support of and contributions made to ACLD. Since Crisci and his team at L&M became involved with ACLD three years ago, they have renovated many of ACLD’s community residences and refurbished the Hauppauge Health Center and administrative buildings on ACLD’s Bethpage campus. Crisci spoke at the Golf Outing Awards Presentation of being greeted with hugs and huge smiles by ACLD residents and how working in the homes of such incredible people is a great privilege.
“I knew this was not going to be an ordinary painting contract from my very first day on the job,” said Crisci at the outing. “Having the opportunity to build friendships with not only ACLD staff, but, most importantly, with the people ACLD supports, has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I’m thrilled to have been chosen as this year’s golf outing honoree and feel like I’ve become a part of the ACLD family. My wife Lynn and I will always be here for ACLD and the wonderful people ACLD supports.”
