All northbound lanes were closed Friday morning near exit 10 from the collision that sent another driver to the hospital, police said.

PLAINVIEW, NY — A 27-year-old woman was killed in a crash Friday morning on the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway, police said.

The victim was driving a 2007 Infiniti northbound when she collided with a 2017 Infiniti CRV near Exit 10 just after 9 a.m.

Lanes were closed for several hours due to the serious nature of the crash.

The 68-year-old female driver of the CRV was hospitalized with minor injuries and is in stable condition. Police are investigating.
