PLAINVIEW, NY — Hawks' spirit filled the air on Saturday with a victory over Uniondale during their homecoming weekend.
Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School's Hawks took home a 34-7 victory on Oct. 3.
On the night before, students gathered for a pep rally with a roaring bonfire.
On homecoming day, the Plainview-Old Bethpage community held a traditional parade featuring POBJFKHS marching band, community groups, and classes marching with banners.
"Homecoming weekend is a wonderful reminder of what makes the POB community so special," POBJFKHS Principal Heather Dvorak said.
