Annual Heart and Sole 5K Raises $35K for High School Scholarship
Race proceeds directly benefit the Plainview Syosset Scholarship.

The twelfth annual Plainview Heart & Sole 5K and fun run raised about $35,000 to benefit the Plainview Syosset Scholarship.
The scholarship benefits high school students who are thinking about going into a healthcare-related field.
Over 500 people came out to support the race at Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School on Sunday, July 19.

“We appreciate everyone coming out for this year’s race and were pleased to see everyone exercising together,” said Alan Mensch, MD, senior vice president of medical affairs at Plainview and Syosset hospitals and coordinator of the race.
