Arrest Made In Nassau Overdose Death, Police Say
BREAKING: Police say the man faces drug and drug dealing charges.

PLAINVIEW, NY — Police have arrested an Amityville man in connection with an overdose death in Plainview.
Shaquille Ricks, 25, of Tyrconnell Street was arrested around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday as part of Operation Natalie in Nassau County's so-called "War Against Opioids."
Detectives investigating an overdose death led them to Ricks at Pamela Court. Ricks had acetaminophen, hydrocodone and marijuana on him at the time and he was arrested without incident, police said.

Ricks is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was expected in court Thursday in Hempstead.
