Middle School Students Have Opportunity to Speak to Acclaimed Author

The Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District’s H.B. Mattlin Middle School recently welcomed acclaimed author Tammy Morea to hold an exclusive literary workshop for sixth grade students. The workshop focused on providing students an inside look at the process that goes into writing a book and how to effectively engage an audience. Morea concluded the workshop by reading an excerpt from her book, August Moon.

The event was part of the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District’s ongoing initiative to encourage students to enhance their literary skills.
