Bethpage ShopRite Undergoing Major Renovation, Expansion
The grocery store has already unveiled part of its newly expanded space, with additional upgrades planned through the fall.

BETHPAGE, NY — Customers at Bethpage's ShopRite are already getting a glimpse of major changes underway as the grocery store undergoes a renovation and expansion.
The Hempstead Turnpike supermarket has been renovating and expanding into the adjacent former Ace Hardware space, according to Seth Greenfield of Food Parade, the family-run company that operates six ShopRite stores on Long Island.
"The ShopRite of Bethpage has expanded its footprint," Greenfield told Patch.

The new space opened to customers last week and features a bright, modern section with wider aisles, more offerings, and updated amenities, Greenfield said.
He said there are additional improvements to come and the full renovation is expected to be completed this fall.

Planned improvements include:
- An increased number of checkout lanes.
- Online ordering for pick-up and delivery.
- Wider aisles.
- Expanded offerings in every department, including prepared foods.
- Updated decor from wall art to lighting to the restrooms.
"We thank our customers for their patience during the process as we work to create the very best store and shopping experience for them," Greenfield said.
