The Mid Island Y JCC is offering a CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers & Healthcare Providers course designed to prepare participants to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies until advanced medical personnel can take over. Ideal for EMTs, firefighters, athletic trainers, lifeguards, and other healthcare professionals, the course teaches essential lifesaving skills through discussion, video instruction, and hands-on training based on real-life rescue scenarios.
Participants will learn how to assess emergencies, make critical decisions, and provide care for adults, children, and infants. This course is intended for individuals whose CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification has not been expired for more than 30 days. In-person skills sessions are included.
