Take an hour to slow down, relax and reconnect during a Sacred Sound Bath at the Manes JCC.
Led by Darren Marc Levene, the experience begins with 10 minutes of gentle, yoga-inspired stretches before participants settle into deep relaxation surrounded by the sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, ambient guitar, vocals and other healing instruments. The session will conclude with a brief loving-kindness meditation focused on sending compassion to the world.
The sound bath will take place Friday, October 9, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Manes JCC, 45 Manetto Hill Road in Plainview. The program is $20 for members and $30 for non-members. Drop-ins are welcome.
