Event Details
High school students are invited to make a difference in their community through Teens as Leaders (TAL), a leadership and community service program at Manes JCC. Open to students in grades 9–12, TAL provides opportunities for teens to develop leadership skills, build connections and give back through meaningful volunteer experiences.
Participants meet on select Sundays throughout the school year and take part in a variety of community service projects and Mitzvah Days. Teens who complete the program requirements, including 25 hours of community service and participation in at least four Mitzvah Days, will receive a certificate of completion.
The program is divided into two groups: 9th and 10th graders and 11th and 12th graders.
