Canadian Man Fled Officers, Tried To Ram Them Off Road: Police
Police say he was driving dangerously on three major highways as he led officers on a chase Friday morning.

A Canadian man was arrested Friday morning after police say he led officers on a long car chase, putting numerous people in danger.
According to police, Min Qiao Lin, 39, of Scarborough, Ontario, was seen by a highway patrol officer driving a 2018 Audi Q7 east on the Long Island Expressway on the left shoulder. The officer turned on his lights and sirens to try to stop the car, but police say Lin refused to pull over. Police say that Lin began to flee, committing multiple vehicle and traffic law violations, and exited the LIE and got onto the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway, where he intenionally struck a police car that was trying to pull him over.
Police say that Lin then got of the Seaford-Oyster Bay and got onto the eastbound Northern State Parkway, where he again slammed his car into the police car trying to pull him over. The hit caused Lin to lose control of his car, strike a barrier and flip over, police say.
