Candlelight Vigil Scheduled Following Bomb Threat Made Against Local Jewish Community Center
The local Jewish community center received the threat on Monday.
The Plainview/Old Bethpage Interfaith Clergy Council will be holding a candlelight vigil following a bomb threat made on Monday against the Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center in Plainview.
The vigil will be held on Thursday, March 2 starting at 8 p.m. at the community center on 45 Manetto Hill Road in Plainview.
The threat is possibly connected to more than 100 threats aimed nationwide at Jewish institutions.

According to a flyer for the vigil, the interfaith coalition aims to "bring together the community and local churches, temples, synagogues, and mosques in a celebration of unity."
