Car Stolen At Bethpage 7-Eleven Parking Lot: Cops

The victim had left the vehicle running while she went into the store, police said.

BETHPAGE, NY — A woman's car was stolen as she left the vehicle running to go into a 7-Eleven store in Bethpage, authorities said.

The 61-year-old victim parked her Honda CRV in the store parking lot on Hempstead Turnpike, just after 8 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

When she exited the store, the vehicle was driven away in an unknown direction.
