Plainview Water District Commissioner Andrew N. Bader Elected as First Vice President of Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners' Association

Plainview, NY (November 30, 2015) – The Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners’ Association (NSWCA), proudly announces that Plainview Water District Commissioner Andrew N. Bader has been elected to become the First Vice President of the NSWCA. Commissioner Bader will begin his term in January 2016.
“I am honored to be elected to the position of First Vice President of the Nassau Suffolk Water Commissioners’ Association,” said Commissioner Andrew Bader, who has been a member of the NSWCA since 2010. “I am very passionate about Long Island’s water industry and look forward to working with my fellow Nassau and Suffolk commissioners to continue focusing on investing in and protecting our water supply for future generations.”
Commissioner Bader’s election was announced during a recent meeting led by NSWCA President and Massapequa Water District Commissioner Thomas P. Hand. The NSWCA consists of water commissioners representing 21 Long Island water districts and is dedicated to promoting environmental excellence and best practices, as well as maintaining the highest standards of water quality and supply. The NSWCA sponsors regular educational meetings on topics that include the environment, security, economics, and rules and regulations, among other related issues.
