Daughter Finds Burglar Hiding Behind Bedroom Door in Plainview
The burglary occurred Wednesday night, police said.

A 45-year-old woman and her daughter discovered that their Plainview home was burglarized Wednesday night when police said the daughter encountered an unknown man hiding behind her bedroom door.
According to authorities, the homeowner returned to her Central Park Road residence to find that her house alarm was activated at 5 p.m.
The woman initially found nothing out of place or any doors open, police said.

When her 24-year-old daughter came home and went to open her second floor bedroom door, which was partially open, a man with a black hood over his head came out from behind the door, police said.
The man fled out the back of the house in an unknown direction, police said.

No items are reported missing at this time, police said.
