The Plainview Old Bethpage Hockey Club was inaugurated this past winter and spring and is currently competing in the Nassau County High School Hockey League in the Middle School Division.
The POB Hockey Club will sponsor two teams for the upcoming Fall 2012 Season.
- Middle School (for hockey players in grades 6-8 in Fall 2012)
- Junior Varsity (for hockey players in grades 9-11 in Fall 2012)
In addition to Fall 2012 activities, those players assigned to either one of the teams will be eligible to participate in the Summer 2012 practices and clinics.

On May 16th at 7:15pm, the POB Hockey Club will be holding a full ice open practice for 2012-13 eligible Middle School and Junior Varisty players and current participants. Eligibility is determined by the grade that your child will be attending in 2012-13 and all current POB hockey players. Further each participant must be a member in good standing with AAU. If your child played in the Fall/Winter league, they already have a AAU number which must be sent to us. If didn't play this season, you will to acquire a AAU number for your child. The cost is $14. For all new players, in order to participate in the practice, we need the following:
- Child's name, address, school, date of birth, where he/she currently plays
- The AAU Registration #
- Goalie or skater

This open practice will be from 7:15pm - 8:15pm. After the practice @8:30 in the board room on the South Side of the rink, we will have a presentation and a Q&A session that will discuss the Hockey Club's plans for next season.
