We’ve all seen NBC’s hit show “Who Do You Think You Are”, where we watch the professionals walk a celebrity through their genealogical journey. A year in the making, several JGSLI members have been researching Roger Tilles, a well-known LI philanthropist.
They’ve found lots of surprises, and will be revealing all, including how information was discovered and the resources used, in this special presentation by JGSLI.
In addition to sharing the results of the research within the Tilles family, JGSLI researchers will also explain various methods that they used to find and verify information that they uncovered. In hopes to raise Jewish genealogy awareness, the program intends to draw an audience of people from multiple cultures and varied levels of genealogy experience; from those who never started, to the professional genealogists.
