Film Crew to Cause Explosion in Bethpage on Tuesday
Do not be alarmed if you hear loud noises or see smoke and flames.
Filming for a television show in Bethpage is expected to cause an explosion that may be visible to the nearby community on Tuesday.
The film crew at Grumman Studios, located at 500 Grumman Road West, is expected to blow up a vehicle at some point between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be a one time, single explosion, police said.
Acting Police Commissioner Thomas C. Krumpter advises all nearby residents to not be alarmed if you hear loud noises or see smoke and flames.

Members of the Police Department’s Arson/Bomb Squad and the Nassau County Fire Marshall will be present during the filming.
