Historical City Scavenger Hunt for Students
Middle School Students Learn About Grand Central Station History on Field Trip
Seventh grade students at the Plainview-Old Bethpage School District’s Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School recently participated in a tour and scavenger hunt of Grand Central Terminal to learn its history. The students traveled to New York City and worked in teams to answer questions, find clues and solve riddles as they explored the venue to better understand why it is such an important national landmark.
The event was intended to give students a chance to experience the history they are learning in their social studies curriculum.
