JFK High School Students Commit to College

Students Celebrate National College Decision Day

More than 300 senior students at Plainview-Old Bethpage School District’s John F. Kennedy High School recently made their final college decisions known to the public on National College Decision Day. Students wore their chosen college or university apparel to school to symbolize the final step of their college commitment process.

A “College Decision Tree” is now on display in the school lobby, where students have posted “leaves” notating the college of their choice. Participating seniors took a culminating group photo in front of the completed “tree” after posting their leaves.
